About:

Engin Akbaba, industrial design student at Anadolu University, Turkey. Studying his last semester on product design, 4years degree programm. Searching to find new concepts for the meaning of design and creativity. Still ask himself these questions =) : “Who? Where? When? Why? How?”

The School of Industrial Arts was established in 1993 at Anadolu University. In the year 2000-2001 the Industrial Design, and in 2001-2002, Fashion Design departments started admitting students.

The aim of the Department of Industrial Design is to graduate modern, dynamic and well qualified industrial designers. Computer aided design education, a requirement in contemporary design education, is supported by software that is the product of the latest technology. Students graduating from this department can work as freelance designers in firms and in the research and development departments of government facilities, and design studios.

Vestel is one of the leading trademarks of Turkey’s home appliances sector and international electronic manufacturers. The result of this achievement is Vestel’s innovative line of vision.  Vestel Electronics, having realized a great step forward within the last 10 years is the fifth biggest private industrial institution in Turkiye, and the biggest television producer company in Europe controlling 5% of the world television market acording to the ISO data.
